Default Let's talk about the 2020 Bronco

So Ford is obviously being very tight lipped about the release of the bronco. I can Imagine it's to build hype, but the wait is getting a little crazy here.

I've been trying to keep tabs anywhere I can online and even signed up on bronco6g. Ford authority has some possible decent full size spy shots of it sitting on an f150 body.

    http://fordauthority.com/2019/06/new...ng-f-150-body/

There is rumours that there will be a 7 speed manual transmission option, removable roof and doors. Pretty good contender to the Jeep. Anyway, I'm really hoping we start seeing some shit popping up here. If it's anything like the renderings, or close to the old bronco, you can definitely put me in line for one.

I'm on a Ford forum and those pics don't make sense to me with previous rumours.
I'm excited for this vehicle, but I try to keep it in check until it's actually released.

If this thing is "nostalgic" in styling it would make for a serious consideration - and I've never bought a Ford in my life.

Well the 2-1/2' box is perfect for the typical city truck owner. Just enough room for groceries.

Wasn't this in one of Rock's movies last year or something? Or was that a concept? That thing looked bad ass, I wish they wouldn't change a thing. If it looks like that - it'll definitely be on my list.

That was a concept from 15 years ago.

From what I read, the rock pushed for the bronco to be in the movie rampage. Ford obliged by providing him with the 2004 concept they had sitting in one or their warehouses. Apparently it has a whopping top speed or 30mph. Fast enough just to get the shots that we're in the movie.

If they make it anything like that it'll be a hit! Minus the slower than dog shit part.

I'm just happy that it looks like it'll actually be capable of something other than getting groceries and dropping kids off at soccer (looking at you, 2019 blazer).

....Not that I'll be buying one either way.

Honestly the Blazer doesn't look bad. It's a pretty sharp looking SUV. I think Chevrolet massacred the Blazer long before the bronco went extinct in regards to off road capability.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a return of the K5 Blazer if the Bronco does well.

    Maybe even a Ramcharger comeback.

You give GM way too much credit.

You're right, we'll probably just see a "K5" trim with some overpriced shocks on it, lol.

The current blazer comes standard with an I4 and fwd. Might be sharp looking, but that's got nothing to do with capability. It's for soccer moms.

The last blazer you could get ZR2, big tires, rwd/4wd, etc. Not even comparable.

Trailblazer has been confirmed for production, so I assume that platform will be more off roadish.

Actually, the Trailblazer is more of a replacement for the Trax. So a small, FWD based crossover.

If Ford goes as far as to OJ Simpson badge it, ill buy one. Make 'em nice and rare too. 33 models built to represent his 33 year sentence.
