Flickers seem to be enjoying the warm weather, our local mating pair was digging around in our elm.
When you get a long lens, you turn into a birder. It's life's natural cycle. I would know

Must be nice, the ones local to me like to dig around in my wood siding. If I was shooting them, it wouldn't be with a camera. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I figured it was inevitable. But I use it for other things too, I swear! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ours are pretty well-behaved, they hammered on the chimney once but that's about as bad as it's gotten. I'd imagine I'd have a different opinion if we had wood siding! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Good combo and great lens.
look for EF-RF canon lens adapter on marketplace for around 100$, then you can use all EF lenses.
if you want good budget tele lens my recommendations are
EF 85 1.8
EF 100 2
EF 70-200 4
EF 70-300 IS
these lenses should go for around 200-400$ if you are lucky

Good suggestions. I'm striving for a somewhat compact setup and have my eye on the Rf 24-105 F4L IS. But if I see a good deal on a local used EF mount lens I'll jump on it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The EF version of the 24-105 sell used fairly regularly for $700-800. Great lens. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Wow at the f1 shots. Awesome! And holy hell the crowds are fucking massive compared to previous years that I’ve been to.

It was nuts, 340,000 people I heard. Took us anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes to get to the track from downtown. Once there it wasn't too bad but the traffic was wild. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
