You go through nearly a pound of lemons a day? #impressive
home made lemonade is a huge favorite at my house especially when you pour in tequila after a long work day. But yea we go through a lot of lemons making salad dressing and slicing them up when we cook fish in the oven.

Now that I am thinking about it we seem to be eating the same meals over and over every month. Guess I better ask my wife to find new meal options to cook lol

alright I had free time here so here goes:

I bought the following at Costco last weekend:

6lb bag of royal gala apples $6.79
    10lb bag of carrots - $10
    2lb box of Roma Tomato - $5.49
    5lb bag of lemons - $8.99
    6 romain lettuce hearts - $6
    2.5 dozen organic brown eggs - $10.99
    bananas bunch 3lbs - $1.99

Total=$50.25 (minus whatever my executive membership and costco capital one card refund me at the end of the year) * I get an additional 6 eggs but 1 less lb of lemons over Super Store *

I went off the Superstore online grocery order website (not that I would shop here as it is out of my way but I assume its one of the cheapest priced stores):

    6lb Gala apples - $12.96
    10 lbs carrots - $9.96
    2lb Roma Tomatoe - $5.96
    6 lb bag of lemons - $9.96
    6 romain lettuce hearts $5.98
    2 dozen organic brown eggs - $12.96
    banana bunch 3lbs - $1.98

    Total = $59.76 * I have 6 less eggs but 1lb more of lemons than Costco *

Those are staple items that I buy every 8 days so my grocery bill could be higher or maybe a bit lower depending on the sale of the week.
Nice breakdown. Yeah I guess looks like Costco is the way to go for you. It will be on average cheaper by a few bucks each time (because you will make some bucks back from PC points) and you don't need to worry about looking at flyers.

There is so much win in this post, I didn't want it to pass by unnoticed.

    Let's break it down:

    1. He shops at Costco, and does so effectively
    2. He makes lemonade for the kids. Fresh! Lucky kids.
    3. He spikes lemonade with get-drunk juice on the sly. A man of the people.
    4. He eats healthy food, which tastes great, and is high in omega fatty acids. Salad on the side of course. I bet the salad has fresh tomatoes.
    5. He doesn't complain about food or act picky.
    6. His wife cooks for him.

Way too much talk of ballers here at beyond. This guy has his shit squared away.

Yeah the bulk apples at Costco are ridiculously cheap. Same with their bag packs of tomatoes.
