Just came here to say the cheaper Costco gas prices are pretty much gone with the exception of premium which is about 12 cents more than regular vs. 19-21 cents more at other stations.

Their regular gas is pretty much the same as other stations, maybe 1-2 cents cheaper some times depending on the day. It's nothing compared to the 8-10 cents difference before.

For anyone who truly enjoys Costco hot dogs...how can you love others when you don't love yourself.

LOL it was obviously a joke. I didn't really think anyone would get offended over a hot dog, and yet here we are.

Somebody making "obvious jokes" completely misses an obvious joke. Here we are indeed.

Gas (usually) and prescription prices make it worthwhile for me. More than pays for the membership. The rest is just a shit show.

Yes they can be significantly cheaper. The dispensing fee is very low there.

My partner needed some antibiotics...everywhere was a staggering $400. Still expensive but Costco was $355.

That's crazy for antibiotics, every time I have needed them they were like $20 for a giant bottle. They must not be generic ones.

Hahaha....uh....They were very specific ones for gut related stuff. Much to literally everyone's surprise, Blue Cross covered them.

Also fun fact, some physicians have drug cards (ie: a coupon) from pharma companies. If you're likely not going to be covered, or have no insurance, some Dr's have these to help the situation.

I don't know if it's the same sort of deal or not but one time when my GF was picking up her BC pills, the pharmacist just asked her if she would like to pay like $3 instead of $40. Apparently it can be subsidized somehow so it's basically free, and now she pays $3 every 3 months instead of $40 and she didn't have to do anything.

An interesting and worthwhile program, but not the same.
