Since there was such a long pause from the regular season, most teams started the playoffs completely healthy and cause of no travel they were able to fit more games in a shorter period of time. I think Tampa should be proud of themselves, it was a weird year for sure, their schedules/training were all messed up and they were missing one of their star wingers. On top of that they had to deal with any psychological issues that may have come about due to the extreme quarantine they were in, but that affected all teams.
I never expected Dallas to beat Vegas so in my mind as soon as that happened, Tampa had pretty well guaranteed the cup and it was a bit boring, but that is just me. Dallas isn't bad but I think they got a bit lucky this year to make it as far as they did. I guess that's the playoffs for you though, always a surprise.
The cup does have a bit of an asterisk this year, which will no doubt be the topic of endless forum arguments between fansLooking forward to things getting back to 'normal' for the regular season.
