The benefit of masks is not known at this time. But we do know it is some non-trivial amount more than zero.

We also know that the cost of mask use is, essentially, zero.

So the cost:benefit of mask use is approaching infinity. I'll take that every time. And every time I see someone without a mask, I think they are stupid.

All in all the logo's and colours look pretty clean. Excited to see how the final jersey looks.

I think these will look really sharp with the rest of the gear on. I think if they go the Vegas route with colour match gloves etc, this will be really good looking overall package

The anchor is really well done. The colours go together well too. Overall, very nice.

Butttttt.... is it just me or does the overall look seem... not very aggressive? The name involves a terrifying beast of a creature but the logo is merely lurking. The seafoam green/blue works well with the nautical theme but again, kinda a pansy colour if you ask me.

    I'm most likely overanalyzing this.

I agree with all your points, they went a little safe with it. Vegas managed to push the boundaries of design and still put together a very aesthetically pleasing kit, while these are just a little boring. Nice overall design, but lack a little pzazz.

That was a nice touch. I didn't notice that until now.

How will the "expansion draft" be affected if/when 1-2 teams pack it in?
Florida had been hanging by a thread for years and Arizona is like that Monty Python "just a flesh wound". Just fucking die, already!!
Seriously, though... I think there is going to be a really weird redistribution of players over the next 2 years.

Considering Melnyk's reputation for stinginess, should that really surprise anyone?
