I watched the build last night. Incredibly hacky. Would have been a neat concept if they had some people of real skill do the job and with conviction.
Simone is all about hacky if you follow her channel. So this is norm. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Typical west coast mentality. Rich Rebuild is probably more of your jam. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Really dumb concept outside of the click bait aspect of the video.
A: buying a brand new car (even if electric) is not likely a great choice compared to a used vehicle
B: I don’t see this doing much good as a truck, the bed is tiny
C: even if building this to “be kind to the environment” they could have just done an electric conversion on an existing pickup, they have rich rebuilds and a truck WITH A BLOWN ENGINE in the video

Its more of a bastardized version of an el camino than a truck....

It’s no truck. A truck is more than a different shaped car. If it’s a unibody, it’s not a truck.
Aah, so an El Camino is a truck but a Ridgeline is not? Ridgeline owners will not be happy with this. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Will fuck off, again.
Lol Ridgeline is a glorified car.. The current gen even have more car look than truck look. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Why does it HAVE to be body on frame to be a truck? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Because it wont do truck things. Like carry and tow a lot of weight. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I suppose that means the Ridgeline isn't a truck? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

At a paltry 5000lb towing capacity and 1500lb cargo capacity, i would so no. Many SUV's or crossovers can tow that. Heck the 2WD version drops to 3500lbs. My wifes old Q5 could tow that. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So by those standards, we shouldn't be calling a Tacoma a truck either? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
