Those older ridgelines looked like a nice truck (small but for most folks picking up a few items) but seen a 2019 yesterday and it looked like someone hacked part of the roof and rear window. I would say it looked like a el camino but that would make fun of those. Maybe a ute but not a pretty one.

Perhaps the majority of use cases for you (or your nephew rather) are light duty, but I have outgrown a half ton for almost 10 years. I tow a 16,000lb fifth wheel and consistently haul more than 1500lbs of cargo just in the bed, not including interior cargo/fuel.

A large majority of people use their truck for light duty. But because YOU have outgrown the need for a half tonne they are not considered a "real" truck in your opinion? lol!
