Yeah Raptor (supercrew), fun as hell just not great at doing truck things.
No shit. That’s barely more than my wife’s Impreza WRX.

It's just because of the suspension. That and if it were higher, you know some idiot would take a jump in it with a full payload, and then demand warranty work.

I had a Tacoma and now a Wrangler since the Ridgeline. Ridgeline lasted about 4 months for me.

From what I remember the Taco's rating was 1000lbs, so yeah the Honda has a much higher payload rating!

I’ve learnt that a Ridgeline with a snow plow is more a truck than a Raptor.

Half tons have HUGE variety. It is possible to get an F150 WITH 3200 lbs payload, but that's an XL trim 2wd 2 door. You can get up to 2800 in an XLT Supercrew 4x4, but most Supercrew 4x4 are 1600-1800 lbs.

2015 Sierra 1500, crew cab with the 5.3 and 3.42 gearing, this is my work truck.
    1729 lbs payload
2015 Sierra 2500 crew cab with the 6.0 and 4.10 gearing. I use my truck camper in this. It also has a sticker in the glove box saying not to use a camper over 1980 lbs.

I wonder why yours is more than my 2017 2500, 6.0 and 4.10 gears.

I would post a picture but my truck is sitting at the storage lot. But from looking at your payload sticker, my truck has the 18" wheel option so maybe that makes a difference? Also, is your truck 6.5ft box or 8ft? Mine is 6.5 ft.

Mine is 6.5 too. It must be my wee little wheels and tires. I thought smaller wheels would increase payload. I wonder what the upside is to 245/17s then. Oh well, it's work's truck, not mine so I don't care.
