Agreed. The Super Duke pulls like a freight train, ridiculous power. I rode with a guy that has a RC8R, same thing, crazy power. Always love my Vtwins. I only made the triple mistake once, FZ09. Lasted a couple months, and was in the shop 90% of the time. I was told by the dealer that I was not alone. Ill stick with my twins. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I had my FZ-09 for a year, did a long trip to BC, putting 1500km on a single weekend, and the only issue I ever had was that for commuting, the heated grips on my CBR worked better. I'd still own it, if I had the space/money to justify 2 bikes. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

2,000 km's on my MT-09 currently, no problems at all yet. It's a beast, scary. Love it.
I'm sure there are people who had great luck with them, kind of like I have never had issues with any of my F350 diesels. I'd have to dig up my paperwork, I know the clutch basket had to be swapped (which is when he told me that was common), had a fuel delivery issue, and the mapping from stock is terrible (easy fix with aftermarket). But they are cheap, like really cheap, and tons for sale with low mileage. On the other hand, I have a RG Harley with 161k kms on it, never seen a shop. But I am sure some people have had issues. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also I know the ECU was replaced, because that took over 4 weeks for the part, and that was at 1800kms.
I track mine, so lots of maintenance. Fork and shock rebuilds, tires, brakes, chains, chain slides etc. The only real bummer lately was needing a new radiator. Other than that, reliable and sounds amazing, wheelies amazing, brappy fun. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does it have that holeshot power of a KTM for making fast getaways though? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
