How did Gio managed to get stuck while Verstappen just powered out of the same pit?

That's insane. That car must have had so much race pace they didn't use after the first 20 laps or whatever it was. Shitty for Bottas, his retake on Hamilton was awesome(even if Lewis gave him too much space).

    Poor Vettel.

Lewis said in the press conference he had no idea where Bottas was, didn’t see him, but gave him space because they’re teammates. If it was any other car, he would’ve rightfully closed the door.

Guess he learnt his lesson with Rosberg.

What a Brilliant Race! (I only watched the Youtube highlights)
There were doubts, cries and howls of sorrows... The death of F1...But NooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo.
The BRITISH GP bitch slapped those ideas and sent out a thriller... Not only did a Brit win the F1 GP, England won the Cricket. What a glorious day for sport.

Im struggling to write..im overcome with joy.. (I ate Chicken curry with two garlic naan. Yes TWO!! I can hardly breathe and move right now)

Vettle's crash was reminiscent of a sulky Schumacher punch. WTF was he thinking?
Its terrible for Vettle to finish 15th in Britian. His attempt at bringing Operation Sea Lion out of the ashes failed. I think he needs to rub one out before he starts a race to calm himself down a bit. When things get exciting it just goes to his head and he cant seem to handle it.

Poor Max, the way he rejoined the track was hilarious. It was like he was emerging from a back alley.

How the hell does Botas show no emotion..? Its almost like a flat emotionless monotone... Its kinda scary..
Gasley finished 4th lol. he upped his game.

Mclaren finished 6th impressive.. I think I read somewhere they getting the Mercedes engine?

Fastest lap on old ass hards. What the actual fuck.
Do not underestimate the power of the Goomba. This is a actual photo of Hamilton as he passed the finish line. Even then he did not seem like stopping..

Quite a bit of back and forth about pitting Lewis in the last 10 laps. Complained of vibration and some blistering, then boom on the final lap.

Pretty sure gio had a flat rear tire which caused the spin, then could not get any traction in the gravel as the height of the tire beached the car

Leclerc with another amazing race. I'm telling you guys, hes the real deal. Showed max whos boss multiple times. And I like Max quite a bit. Going to be fun watching those 2 fight for years to come.

I feel for Bottas. Awesome weekend for his, and to no fault of his own Lewis somehow gets incredibly lucky and passes on the SC. Unreal luck.

Bottas would have lost anyways. His stint at the time was medium - medium so he was forced to pit once more. Not sure why he didn’t go hards for stint 2 to at least give him an opportunity to switch to a 1 stop. The strategy lost him the race.

No one other than Hamilton thought it could be a 1 stop race. All the teams were planning on a 2-stop race, and that's what Hamilton's team was planning on doing too.

Yep. Thus why the safety car saved his shit strategy. Pure luck

This is far from the truth. When Bottas pitted his front left was toast. Hamilton on old mediums ran faster than Bottas on new mediums and would have undercutted him easily. The SC ran for 3 laps, even if Hamilton’s hards were toast without SC, he could’ve ran 7s a lap slower for 3 laps and still beat Bottas on a 2 stop. Instead, he had enough tire to run the fastest lap on the final lap.

There wasn’t a situation where Bottas could’ve beat Hamilton straight up. No clue why or how Hamilton was able to be faster than Bottas yet used less left front tire. That was the differentiator that won the race for Hamilton regardless of SC.

No Hockenheim thread so will put this here.

38C on Friday will be interesting to see how it impacts Merc in FP1 and FP2. Doubt they will run the car hard so won't likely get a true representation till P3 when it cools down a bit.
