This makes no sense. The law of supply and demand works just as well for new cars as it does for every other thing in the universe.
Firm believer that long lasting relationships are a lot more beneficial in the long term than a quick buck.
MSRP is good enough and everyone involved benefits.

Not everybody operates that way and that's okay too

People argue and complain when dealers sell for above MSRP... and now people are arguing about a dealer only selling for MSRP?

The internet is the best haha

    Not the same people!

People who complain about dealers selling above MSRP are the same people that complain about "price gouging" during floods.

When does the ZR1 version come out? I’m in on that one for sure.
    3-5 years.

    We have:

    Z06

    Then

    Grandsport

    Then

    Hybrid

    Then

    ZR1 hybrid.

I think that’s the sequence. The hybrid might be the ZR1 itself, but I feel a small motor LT2 600hp will be somewhere in there.

When the dust settles, the top model NA version will be the one to have. (Probably a Grand Sport)

I thought the C7 was constantly having mechanical issues along with overheating problems.

GM never posted an official Nürburgring time despite repeated attempts because of issues everytime they went out.
Only the Supercharged Z06 Automatic transmission sometimes had heat issues on the track during +30c days. I daily drove my C7 Z06 for over 3 years without any heat or other mechanical issues. And I drove it like I stole it, those things are bulletproof. The C6 was a tough act to follow for Nürburgring times, it not a bad thing that C7 couldn't one up it.

Specs will certainly have everyone's attention, but i can't past the fact it looks like a 2004 Ferrari F430 in most profiles. Certainly not original......
This is starting to get less than coincidental when we remember how the C6 Z06 looked like a 575 Modificata.

Well while some of you are fretting over how it looks like this car or that car, there will multitudes of people who'll like it for what it is - that is a performance bargain that'll have a lot of people reconsidering their future performance car purchases.

Chevy doesn't appear to be marketing the C8 as a Ferrari or Porsche or whatever beater. People who dislike the lowly Bowtie brand will not all of sudden start flocking in droves to get a C8, they'll stick with what they desire/like and many others will purchase a C8 and enjoy a great car at a great price and not care one bit that it might look remotely like some other car.

Case in point , first gen Fiero, Fiat X1/9, first gen MR2 all were mid engined cars that had strikingly similar looks and I highly doubt that the purchasers of those cars were worried about that in the least bit.

It's the next generation Corvette that is almost as different in style compared to the previous generation as much as the C1 and C2 were. It's chock full of interesting goodies and pretty much the best bang for the buck that any of us have seen for a long time.
    Will fuck off, again.

I've seen a few memes with C8's and Fiero's....like seriously? They're both mid engine and have four wheels, that's where the similarities end. It's like comparing the first gen MR2 with a Lexus LFA, you know, because the're both mid engine'd Toyota's after all.

I think the comparison stems from the fact that the Fiero was Chev's last mid-engined car in NA.

The more serious issue is that the LFA IS NOT mid-engined...

Depends if you think having the engine behind the driver is the reason it's a mid engine. As long as the engine is between the axles it could be considered mid engine.

Probably not a common thing to say, even more unusual because then Corvettes would already be considered mid engine

This but I just want to know when the Fiero ceased being a Pontiac.

Happened about the same time the LFA became mid-engined.
