    Default GR Yaris

I'm no longer the demographic that would buy something like this, but wow is it impressive. I can't believe Toyota actually built it:

    - 2800lbs - 3 door only
    - 6MT only
    - 1.6l 3 cylinder - 260hp/260tq
    - AWD - Active centre diff (adjustable), torsen front and rear lsd.
    - Carbon roof, widebody, aluminum hood/doors/trunk.
    - Independent rear suspension, extensive chassis welding and adhesives etc.

Have been reading really good reviews. Sad it won’t be sold in Canada, I’d probably consider it in the 40-50k range personally.

Yet another seemingly great car that won't come to North America.

I'm generally all for factory widebody, but that rear arch looks so awkward in that photo above. While it does look more pleasing from the rear, i feel like it could have been incorporated a bit better as right now it kind of looks like a wart on it's ass cheek.

Interesting car for sure, wonder how bad the turbo lag would be to make 260/260 in a 1.3

Definitely would buy it if it came here. Too cool not to, and you know it will be a special car years down the road if you kept it in decent shape.

I would seriously consider buying one if it was available here as I was sold after watching Mat's review but I imagine it would be in the range of $45k which would make it a tough sell in North America especially in the US where they hate small cars and bigger is best.

Apparently in 2022 NA will get a GR Corolla, minus the AWD. Just as usual, NA gets the neutered version of any fun cars.

The cool thing about this Europe only GR Yaris is it was going to enter into WRC for 2021 which was then promptly cancelled/postponed debut for now. So all the development GR put in for WRC, some may actually landed in the production version.

I like it, I don't see it coming to this side of the pond though. SUV sales are where it is at. I am curious as hell to see how the 3 cylinder runs and feels..

I kind wish they made a Type R version of the Honda FIT... oh the possibilities...

Satire. It's a back & forth on beyond, it seems.

    I only drive manual.
