The oilers media makes me absolutely sick. They're a bunch of whining losers lol.

The league, Kassian's own coach and multiple others have defended Tkachuck's hits, saying they were clean.
If you look at the one's whining, they are all connected in some way shape or form to the Oiler's organization.

Meanwhile McDavid hit Tkachuck from behind moments after the second hit to Kassian, not word is said. But who cares! its a nothing play.
The flames won the game, MOVE THE FUCK ON. Its actually comical and sad all at once.

Wanted to get some outside perspective on the Tkachuk stuff. So I listened to the hockey central podcast from Toronto based Sportsnet 590.
Summary is that a) if that what a different player that hit a different player, it could have been bad. B) tkachuk isn't going to change his behaviour, although maybe other players might. C) something might happen next game. D) it was a clean hit, but it may have been outside "the code" and that's why Kassian was mad.

So, that sounds like nothing we all didn't already know.

The penalty cost them the game so I think this is pretty ridiculous, but honestly, anything that comes from NHL Discipline is either too hard, too soft, or too medium. I can't think of a time where their decision made any sense.

It was about as "30 punches" by Kassian as it was 30 strides that Chucky took before he hit him.

I retract my earlier statement that the hit was clean as I was only looking for elbows or head contact. He took five strides before that hit and that's Charging, period. The whole thing should've been 2 for Charging and the Double Minor for Roughing and call it a day. Flames maybe still would've scored but this supplementary discipline is random horse shit.
The latest Sportsnet story points out their complete random suspensions, as well.
