Tobias Reider is a real solid playoff contributer. Good depth guy.

I like the cut of this teams jib, especially in comparison to last year. They look stronger and less afraid to go into the dirty areas, plus role players are stepping up. Flames in 6.

I just wish playoff Johnny isn’t a real thing, but it looks like it is. That’s my only complaint.

Agreed, he doesn’t like getting hit so it pretty much nullifies his play making. I don’t blame him though, he’s got a target on his back when he is on the ice.

Flames would be flying if Johnny was going. Let’s hope the third line can drag us long enough till Gaudreau shows up.

I actually feel that Johnny is more engaged this year than last year. His first playoff appearance in 2015 was quite good .

Better then last year isn’t saying much. Lol. But yea he’s looked more engaged.

Flames need him to get back to when he was in the hart contention last season.

Playoff Johnny this year is playing with so much more hustle defensively. Teams still have to respect him on the offense. It would be incredible if Rinaldo can get going to replace Janko. Looch should take all faceoffs on that line from now on.

Disagree. He was in contention for the Heart because he stood out so much on a weaker team. If he's less noticeable, that's probably a good thing because it (hopefully) means we have more production from other lines. If he is still drawing their best defensive players like he is, and he's working his ass off like he is, I think he's doing what he needs to do without the scoresheet reflecting it. I don't care if he's the highest scoring player on the team in the playoffs.

He’s playing defensively because he’s causing those plays

Canadian fans are so toxic. Let's just try to stay positive and happy, about the Flames, but maybe in general.

Hey now, along with geese, hockey is the one thing we're allowed to be dicks about, otherwise we're super friendly

Geese make warm duvets and jackets. Hockey players? Not so much.

Not to harp on Hamonic, but that 2nd pairing is miles better with Rasmus Andersson. That guy is such a gamer and I'm glad Flames were able to extend him on such a great contract. With Gio's age starting to show, Rasmus is a going to be a good replacement as a leader of the defense corp.

You can stay positive and still find areas to improve on.

Dont be too good because it makes everyone else look not as good? No thanks.

MacKinnon is a dominating beast on a stacked Avs team... whats the issue with that?
