If you’re referring to the delay of game taking the net off, that was one of the smartest plays I’ve seen in a long time. Took what would have been a guaranteed goal by Benn and turned it into a PK which we killed off.

If you’re referring to the delay of game taking the net off, that was one of the smartest plays I’ve seen in a long time. Took what would have been a guaranteed goal by Benn and turned it into a PK which we killed off.

Guaranteed goal is a bit strongly worded, Talbot had the angle covered and if Gio had known where he was in relation to the net and controlled his attempt at blocking the potential pass a little cleaner, the Flames would have had a crucial 2 additional minutes to seek out the tying goal.
