I am pretty sure I know that place, I have noticed it driving out to Camp Mockingbird.

Love that place, if it had a larger indoor pool it'd be on the list - even the swimmer pool though is decent, nice shower near it as well. 3 car garage and that rear shed/garage, fantastic. Not a fan of all the white inside the home, but that's easily changed. Not a bad price considering, decent value based on what I've been looking at in AB and Calgary specifically IMO.

Disappointing there isn't an aircraft in there, but just random junk.

Can't say it'd be any different if it were my place.

Not garage overload but a weird setup I haven't seen before and pretty sure I hate it.

    156 Fairview Crescent SE, Calgary, Alberta T2H0Z6 - A2103578 | REALTOR.ca

Double garage but with the single garage doors offset on the front and back.

Plenty to hate there. Not just the garage (perfect for those who love nothing more than shoveling, since there's 100' of driveway), you have to choose whether you want a living room or a table to eat at, there's no closet in the front entry (well, hardly a front entry at all - hope you like a doormat full of shoes in your living room/dining room), baseboard heating in the basement, only one bathroom per floor... all for the low low price of >$700k. In the SE.

Same gripe about the entry, but you get way more garage/dollar?

That's fairview. I lived in a house in 1996/97 that was laid out exactly like that in the same area, just a few blocks away.

The houses aren't big enough to do major renos to, people have already started doing infills in there. I've been finding this is the price for everyone that's done some renos over there.

Not for sale, but check out this wacky setup lol... None of my cars would get into the lower garage, thats wild.. I wonder how they got away with the land coverage stipulation? i guess you just apply and they approve or not?

That is indeed a wacky setup.

re: your comment on land coverage, you can definitely get around it if you have reasonable justification. My dad built a pretty significantly oversized detached when they reno'd their house and got a proper exemption.

It might be that setup because the house is split between families? At least that's the most logical reason why you'd put this much effort on it...
