help settle bet....flames last playoffs

So I say the last season that the Flames made it to the playoffs was in 96. I think they didn't even make it past the first round IIRC. But my buddy sooo convinced that they had to have made it more recent than that. So was it 96 or later??

96 was the last year they made it to the playoffs

been 8 years since thier last playoffs, vancouver knocked em out first round. 89 was the last time they won a round in the playoffs.

chicago blackhawks swept calgary in the first round of the 95-96 playoffs... not vancouver

vancouver got us in 94...

Yeah last time they made the playoffs they lost to Chicago.
Last time they made it past the first round was when they won the cup in 89
