    Default Discounted safety courses?

When I was with another company, they either paid for our tickets, or sent us somewhere with a discounted rate.

Now, I cant ask my current employer this, as I'm looking to leave this employer, does anyone know any other way of making this happen?

    TIA.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I just took OSSA fall arrest, Standard first aid and H2S at AIP. They were the cheapest I could find.

Not sure what industry you're in or where you plan to operate, but keep in mind some companies don't recognize all training courses available out there. So you could potentially be throwing away your time/money with those particular courses (if not recognized).

I've set everything up. I've had all of these courses before, just havent used them in a long time so they expired.

Everything is OSSA and Enform recognized, so no issues. As above, I am going through AIP for some and ABCS for others.

When I was in calgary we did our EWP and Fall arrest through Leavitt. I don't know the costs, but given the company I was with was cheap AF, I imagine its reasonable. I did my confined space through ACSA I believe.

Ya, in total for all 3 is about $600. Not bad.

Why not just get your employer to pay? Because you are leaving soon? Who cares.
