Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

How much do your guys' water bill spike during summer? (in cubes)
I overseed spring and fall and topdressed this spring. I don't think it matters as much in our climate if you wanted to topdress or seed in summer. Just need to really water it well and often.
Tap, Rack, BANG!
Late response, but don't dethatch now. Usually it's only recommended to be done in Spring and Fall. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
With our unusually hot temperatures this early on you will risk killing off your grass.
What I save in nat.gas, I spend in water. We average 12 cubes in winter and 30 in summer. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ezseed on sale at Costco. $48 down from $60 for 11 kg
LoL 11kg!...
That's as useful as the Club House 350g size jar of crushed red peppers I bought at Costco about 15 years ago. Just under half full, today!
Where one lawn end, the other beginneth. Fucken neighbour lol.
At least we have the paving stone demilitarized zone$
Tap, Rack, BANG!
I mean the 1.5 kg is like $20… so you’re getting 8 kg for free?!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
True. I guess it's a bit like the insane Killex Concentrate I bought. Except... The grass seed goes bad and won't grow after much over one year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In store only I guess? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Looks great! What was your process for topdressing? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Went to lafarge, bought soil, spread by hand with shovel and rake. If I did again I’d get better soil as wasn’t super stoked on what I got as it had rocks in itThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you're not heavily irrigating... There's usually that point in august that you can skip weekly mows and nothing but the quackgrass really grows. Use it to your advantage - let the quackgrass get real tall over 2-3 weeks; then latex gloved hand, spray some round-up on the glove, shake off in a bucket, run your hand up the stalk/leaves and bend/twist as you go (quack grass has a waxy-ish coating that makes spray somewhat ineffective; break that layer/open the plant to receive the roundup); good water a couple hours later. Usually you can see the results in 24 hours, repeat. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There's that one gloved wierdo stroking his grass again.
Lol.
Tap, Rack, BANG!
My lawn looks like your neighbors. Not by choice. I just bought the house and the last people didn't take care of it. I dont think I'll get it to where I want it until at least next year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thing is, this yard was the best on the block for the whole time I've lived in town, when the original owners had it, but the PO let it go to shit.
I'll need the entire list of tools to help to get it right.
Get a female dog.... I've used nearly 2 of those monster bags so far this year bringing my lawn back. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yea I said I'm throwing in the quackgrass towel but that shit is keeping me up at night haha. It looks like hell so I'm going to town this weekend if I can get it to grow out a little bit first. Your method sounds better then the paintbrush trick. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also any idea where can I get the blue dye spray so I know what I've applied as I go?
