My only tip for any of these is that "pulling" stumps is really tough. Pay someone to grind them out, much faster, easier, better.

Clover is taking up residence in several spots on my front yard. It's unwelcome and I never seem to have good luck with the weak ass selective herbicides the box stores sell.
Any recommendations on good landscapers I could pay for a treatment regimen?
Back in the olden days, clover was deliberately added to grass seed because it was such a pleasant and hard ground cover.

Or just burn it out... but another good method if you don't want the neighbors calling the fire dept. is that powder stuff that quickens the decay process. It'll take a couple of years, but saves you $500This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

$40 pick axe and a few hours and some beer... way cheaper.
You can rent stump grinders.
You all sound like you're afraid of a bit of hard work haha

Chopping an axe into a massive root of a now dead tree sounds like fun for about 5 minutes.... not so fun for latter 5 hours haha.
That isn't how you remove a stump.... Anyone who does it that way is crazy. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Do you guys not all have a skid steer and a grinder laying around or something?

Well I guess I'm on team 'hire someone' if I ever have to get a tree stump removed. Idiot me just smashing an axe into the ground for half a day. Probably lose a toe.
I think I'm gonna chainsaw that shit in front of my house and then pull the rest out with the truck. I'll have a look at it once I'm done chopping.

My biggest worry is a snapped tow strap/chain resulting in a broken window or other damages.
Although, some people just don't understand physics, or just how to tow anything in general.

It's much harder than people realize to pull anything out with a truck.

+1 for renting a stump grinder.
Speaking as someone who's rented a few different stump grinders, the only good one is one that's attached to a Cat.
Those small ones suck balls for anything that isn't a large bush.

By the time you fornicate around renting, you are just as good to pay a dude who brings that larger one.
