They have to let the photographer in. Unless they're the real lazy ones who just text you the code.

we're gonna be listing our house in the next while, im ok with their lawn lookin shitty and mine looking skookum. it just hurts to watch haha.

They also ripped out all the flooring and replaced, and are providing credit for new stove, fridge and washer... gotta think the tenants absolutely nuked the place as it was built in 2015

Anybody got tips for dealing with chinch bugs? My neighbor confirmed they have them and they are getting it sprayed for $350 which includes 2 applications.

Just wondering if there is something else that is readily available off the shelf that also works.
There seems to be nothing at the local Home Depot etc. stores. Safer’s has a product that’s supposed to work. I got a bottle at Greengate on Macleod. It seemed to work last year but we had a mild case. Some neighbours had seriously damaged lawns.
The product is Trounce Lawn & Turf NOT Yard & Garden.

Thanks, I bought a 500ml concentrate bottle of Safer's EndAll from Amazon ($1 cheaper than Crappy Tire). Will look for the Trounce Lawn & Turf.

Chinch bug damage often starts along a fence or sidewalk where it's warmer. They like heat, and hate moisture.

DIY seems the way... how do you tie it into your basement/water supply?
If you can hook up the tees/bends on the exterior lines, splicing into the basement water supply isn't any more difficult. Might require a special hose clamp plier but otherwise, it's pretty straight forward with a tee and a couple clamps. Hardest part was running my lines across my joists as I've got plenty of HVAC and other water lines in between.

I had posted about it previously, but any house built pre- ~2015 is grandfathered into code to not require a backflow preventor. It's optional. Houses built post- ~2015 do require one by building code, though only if you're selling the house could it get flagged.

Just setup chairs for a bbq with friends.

If I water tonight, you think that will keep the dandelion seeds down?

Well looks like I gotta deal with some voles for the first time. Any advice / best way to go about this? I have a small dog that would still be in the backyard but if its a few days I can avoid letting him out there.

So i shut down the Oto, weed wacked the shit outta my dead areas, hit them with a cultivator, poked a bunch of holes in the areas, spread seed and lawn 911 over it, cultivated it again so it all mixed in, and switched to some cheapo water timers and sprinklers.... How long should i be waiting for results on this? Water once a day in the mornings.

On that note though, the Oto seems to be making my healthy portions of lawn real thick, so it worked good the last couple weeks! will set it back up when things cant get blasted away by its stream lol

My neighbour seems to let their cat roam free all the time, often in my backyard annoying my dog so not sure thats helping. I'll try some traps and see how that goes.

Great to know it works as advertised. I always see it in my ads/feed.

That’s okay, they’re paying a realtor tens of thousands of dollars to represent their house so I’m sure they would visit the house at some point and notice something like the whole lawn dying. Right? Surely they wouldn’t just list it sit behind a computer only.
I read this and thought - damn, they probably didn't interview a selection of REALTORS® and ended up with one of the many schmucks out there (which is unthinkable since it's such a trusted and responsible profession, especially with respect to the fees they charge). Shoulda gone with coupe. Got me thinkin' that he needs his own tagline too - "Shoulda gone Coupe!" (read it as "better caul Saul!")

Need to water more. grass will only germinate if its moist for 5-10 days. Hard at this time of year, but im currently running 3 minutes of water, every 3 hours from 6am-10pm. worked well in my backyard after the dogs nuked it this winter
