Cooler weather has made things a really really slow go.
Last year, in the heat, I had germination within 5-6 days (I just use Scotts contractor grade seed).
This time around, with plenty of moisture, but cooler temps, it took a solid 14+ days.
Give it time, keep watering. Mine is growing great now while other neighbors who gave up early are left with partially repaired patchwork.

It really hasn’t been that warm lately, especially at night, to expect rapid grass growth from seed.

    Just my opinion.

For the EZ seed, assuming we get no rain, do you water once a day or twice?

Its gotta stay wet at all times. So if its super hot and sunny its twice a day easily.

I did an EZ Seed treatment this past weekend so we'll see when we get spouts here.

Amazing! Could you tell me about your setup and how you did it? this is on my list, too many hours lost to watering.

I installed a diy irrigation system. Orbit and Rain bird heads are really cheap and fully adjustable. I cut up some 5/8" garden hose and will be burying it soon.

I am interested as well. Is the controller battery powered or hardwired?

@Neil4Speed , yes, it's this device, but I found it for cheaper on Amazon. Yes, it takes double A batteries. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/orb...clm/1000143831
You can add up to 2 more solenoids that plug in to the controller. I added 1.

I bought these sprinkler heads to shoot far. They can be adjusted a lot, and come with different heads for various spray patterns. I have 2 in a series going at the same time. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought these sprinkler heads for more of a mist. I have 3 or 4 in a row going at the same time, and I still had to dial them down on power to just go 8ft before my road. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...1?ie=UTF8&th=1
I bought these to spike the sprinkler heads into the ground as shown. If you burry the heads, you can keep using them, dig a hole and push the spike in really deep. I did it. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is a little riser/coupler I used to connect the above spikes to the sprinkler base. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/r...0347p.html#plp
I chopped up my 5/8" diameter garden hose, and coupled it to each sprayer using these: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I didn’t add it up (you can, using the items above). But I’d guess $500-700?

Picked up whatever cheap dethatcher was on sale at CT and did this last weekend... Went over my tiny front and rear yard 3-4 times, then used the lawnmower to pick it all up afterwards. Seeded and fertilized after. Took me nearly 6 hours to do it all! I installed U/G irrigation last summer and have been watering it in everyday for 10mins each zone. Still waiting for the deep greening to show up.

Note to anyone with allergies, wear an N95 mask AND take your allergy pills. You'll thank me later.

Fun fact: Almost 100% of the population is allergic to at least one grass.

Laid down the EZ Seed and Awesome Seed on I think May 21st, been watering twice a day. We finally have germination folks, seedlings are sprouting up! 9 days. They should be coming through faster in the next few +22 sunny days

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.
