Ok thanks. I'll probably just buy the ready to spray bottle and give it a go. I need the buttercup gone ASAP. Clover needs triclopyr but not available here, I'll try and transport some discretely next time I cross the border.

at the excellent ICU smothering example.
I make it 2X strength. Works very well. Also I now have a kuato on my belly.

What's the plan for spring? Fertilize and lots of water? Anything else?

Watering right now or tomorrow when it's +7° will help get rid of the snow. Hook your irrigation up to the hot water tank and let 'er rip.

Make sure to lay pre-emergent on it immediately after too.

rip your irrigation pipes after this, it’s almost -10C at night rn and the frost is still very much in the ground so that shit is freezing for sure.

rookie mistake. Can’t freeze if you just don’t shut off the sprinklers at night

I think you need to rid the voles first.
    Search for the voles thread.

Rake up dead tracks and reseed, yes. Will need to wait for it to warm up to seed obviously.

And get traps out, and keep traps out, forever. Good luck.
