Ok thanks. Will keep doing with string trimmer.

String trimmers are only good for knocking back the grass. If you need to actually cut back the grass and dirt that tool will work fine.
I prefer these for the big cuts to trim the grass back https://www.amazon.com/Bully-Tools-9...=fsclp_pl_dp_3

String trimmer is a proper edging tool. If you use it right...
Rotated up to 90° on vertical. This rules out every bent shaft trimmer... Line parallel to the sidewalk edge - I run 2-3° off parallel, with the farthest tip digging in just a bit more. Then it's a fast walk (backwards never forwards) letting the line find the edge. If you're paying attention you can hear/feel the right spot, near end (closest to you) gets the major overgrowth, far end just tickles the edge and helps keep you aligned. Faster you move the straighter the edge.
I've got the Worx 20V and it works well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have a lot of dandelions, like a field of them right on my lawn. I tried Killex, mass-spraying. 2 weeks later, no apparent benefit so I just mowed em down for the moment.
I just ordered 4L of this stuff. Not cheap, but I hope it'll work better then Killex for a mass-application. I think it comes with the blue indicator, so that'll make it easier to see where I sprayed.
Par III is good stuff. watch the dilution ratio, if hat's the same version I've used, it's crazy high concentration. where did you order from?

What do you mean by watch it? I'll plan to follow the instructions. I think 55ml to 1L of water.
I got it off of ebay for $140. It's also on amazon.ca for $155.
Yes follow the instructions. That's all I mean. Don't get cowboy on it and double the strength or anything.

I got some Roundup/glyphosate knockoff from Dow called Maverick-III and after my Marth, holy shit, it only take one tablespoon to make a liter of RTU!! My insane friend has like two gallons of this shit!
I guess I’ll start to bow out of the competition for best lawn on beyond. It’s all yours 89coupe and Nismo!
Hillbilly neighbor is going for a natural landscape of weeds, including quack grass. Which is rolling into our yard now. Anything crazy I can get to spray quack grass? Might also cut out the grass along the fence to help hold it at bay.
Also our vole damage is finally starting to fill back in. Fucking devil rodents.
I'm going to spray my lawn with Covid-19. My hope is the government will throw money at it.
It’s going to pour all weekend and for the foreseeable future. If you are going to spray for weeds I’d do it now, like today or yesterday. Or you are going to have the same issue as the killex.

What’s the best way to deal with clover? One portion of my lawn has a huge infestation.
Killex will do it, but it's slow and not super effective. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Trillion (sp) works really good on that. No idea where to get it though... i bought 1L of concentrated stuff a few years ago from a beyonder and it worked wonders at my parents' house to kill the clover/black medic. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'd suggest you grab one of these - extremely cheap and edging is a breeze. The wheel makes it dead simple to go straight:This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I don't have a huge yard but I have probably a couple hundred feet of edging to do with all the concrete front & back, and this makes it so easy. They're on sale right now too. On the plus side it's a good weed whacker as well. It's built surprisingly well for the ridiculously low price.
