    Default Domain and Email Services

I've been using InMotion for a few years now. It comes with domain registration & protection, email and hosting services.

My hosting services, and I think email, is set to renew at the end of the month. Problem is I only need email and the price is stupid expensive just for that. Domain registration is set to renew in October and would include the registration and protection for $125USD/5 years.

Now I'm looking at what is involved in finding a new company that offers the same domain services and just email - I don't need the hosting part as I use another company and my website is setup just how I want it with them.

    Can anyone recommend:

    A) How to transfer domain registration/protection if I find someone cheaper
    B) A stand-alone email service that will use my domain name like [email protected]

Or a company that can do both and offers good pricing? So many of these hosting sites have good promos for a year and then jack the rates up. I'm looking at something long-term and changing this stuff annually is a pain in the ass I'd prefer not to deal with.

Any domain host will help you transfer. I've used hover and site ground. Both were fine.
I used google gsuite for my email and it was fine. $5/mo.

There’s cheaper options but I just stick with google domains since it also hosts your email with gmail and that works with a lot of plug and play app setups

Thanks guys. I'm trialing Zoho right now, will let you know how it goes but so far, fairly straightforward for this web-based noob. Migrating my old emails over I think I fucked up somehow but really, I don't need them anyways.

There is a free service available but I think I'll go with the $1USD/month service. Bare bones and exactly what I need.
