I'm pretty sure they're not worrying about paying off the acquisition at this point.
But ya... Getting that kennedy Karen out of there was critical.
Its got a buncha adults buying stuffed animals, so maybe it's more for adults acting like kids? Any whoo, it's Elana of Avalor on there for dudes like you. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Does Dis+ have better stream quality? Im a couple episodes in and this show looks amazing in 4k, and it seems better quality than netflix 4k
Netflix has been very openly dropping their stream quality.
They claim “more advanced compression” but it’s to the point where UHD Netflix doesn’t even look good.
Disney has pretty amazing stream quality. Them and Apple are the best probably.

The last episode of Season 2 was some of the best Star Wars I've seen in a long time. Season 3 has quite the shoes to fill
Ultracrepidarian
With Filoni and Favreau splitting time into 5 shows and 2 mini series on top of Mando 3, it remain to be seen if the quality can hold up. Season 2 is full of fan service and basically trailer for other shows. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
But Boba Fett under the Rodriguez, we may get a gritty mini-series out of that one.
What are the 5 shows and 2 mini series. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That plus whatever the old republic movie series they teased is going to be
Great time to be a Star Wars fan, almost makes up for the lasts Jedi with the solid side content.

Nice, had no idea all these other things were in the works. Helps justify the increased cost of D+ too.
Yeah I left out the movies and whatnot. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
No doubt it's a great time to be a fan, having Favreau and Filoni at the helm trying to make up for that dumpster fire of a movie trilogy is a huge improvement. Funny how that works when the showrunners are actually fans of the property.
And leaving their woke politics out of it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not totally tho, as another "girls get it done" moment did sneak in. But much less cringe than Endgame. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Irony is, they did all the woke stuff in Mando without rubbing your face in it. It's all natural.
Usually hate reaction videos but I have to say I can echo these reactions to S02 finale. Spoiler alert....

I'm not well-versed nor that highly committed to Star Wars, so I don't think I'm as harsh of a critic. But I think the weight of the main storyline makes it difficult to expand on the story with sequels. Sequels usually expand on the world, which usually involves raising the stakes. The Matrix ran into that problem when it became a trilogy, raising the question "Neo's the one and he's shown to be a destroyer of the Matrix. How could we possibly make that exciting?" The answer was, "He's one of many Ones and it's a perpetual cycle of reboots". Enough to make most people's heads explode and frustrated a lot of fans of the original. John Wick, on the other hand, started with very small stakes (avenging a dog) and each movie built out from there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In the case of Star Wars, I think the weight of the Skywalker/Empire storyline has no where left to expand, so they are forced to re-hash the same story with the same stakes. That's why the adjacent storylines - Mando, Rogue One, Clone Wars, etc. - have fared better than the ones that are tied to the main line - Eps 1-3, 7-9 and Solo.

When Lucas sold SW to Disney, he already got 7-9 story ready to go. Disney say no thanks and did a childhood ruining, SJW appeasing version of a rehash of 4/5/6 that's a total mess. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Mando has direct Lucas influence and Jon/Dave did a very good job of balancing what fans like and dropping enough hints that keep the sequels 7/8/9 in canon and keep the SJW elements natural.
Since Kennedy has been banned from the Mando set, and Jon has drop a few lines that dig at the 7-9 sequels, this seems to cause fans to ask for a Jon/Dave take over of Lucasfilm and replace Kennedy ASAP. And people under Kennedy doesn't seem to react well to Mando's success. Seems like an internal fight is brewing.

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

It’s not bad. Pretty decent fan service season.
I wouldn’t call it amazing.
