    Default Watch recommendations!

    Hello Beyond!

    I'm sorta looking for another time piece and the Montblanc Timewalker has really caught my eyes. I'm wondering if any of you watch gurus know of any similar alternatives.

    Thanks in advance!

    Montblanc is great. Don't get one if you would like to flip it down the line though as they are terrible in used market. But if you like the watch - the brand is great and they make their own movement which can't be said about every other luxury brand out there. If you are strictly looking for alternatives to Montblanc but that style check out Hamilton collection. I can't remember the name of the specific model right now but I am sure Hamilton has something that looks like that but it is also at a $1K-$1500 price point I believe.

    @shakalaka

    I'm not really the watch flipping type. I looked at Hamilton and while they have something similar, there's just something about this montblanc's design that I really like. I dunno what it is about it.

    I understand - it is a great watch. Honestly if you're not gonna be doing this frequently then perhaps best to just splurge on the Montblanc itself? Since you asked for alternatives the only one that jumped at me was the Hamilton. Hopefully someone else can chime in as surely there's gotta be more. I know some Omega's are somewhat similar but they would be at an even higher price point. You can check used markets such as Canwatchco or WUS for various options too.

    Very nice watch! Have you looked at the Tudor Heritage Chrono or Fastrider? One of the million Speedmaster variations would also be an option.
