Seriously. What are they and how do I get rid of them?

Aphids. Unfortunately not much you can do right now this late into the season. Ladybugs would have eaten that right up.

Well, its not my plants I'm too worried about. I planted some new spruce trees and don't want them to get eaten. Am I cool or do I need to ladybug bomb them?

Yup they are very bad this year. They've somehow even infested some of my son's plastic toys in the back yard which i thought was odd.

They love bright colours. Little bastards. Yes, I considered setting it on fire.

Aphids for sure. Lots of complaining around the area as to the severity of them this year.

I had them annually infest a plant at my old home and simply couldn't get rid of them no matter what I tried - including soap and ladybugs.

They will die off after the first frost, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them back next year. They suck the sap out of the tree but in addition to that the sap attracts wasps and ants. When these get out of control, it is an insect free for all.

My yard is a ladybug festival every fall. They haven't shown up yet but I'm ready.

Tobacco water, I know it sounds gross but it works pretty good.

Nicotine is a very powerful insecticide. I don't really recommend using it.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

    Fuck Aphids.

They've infested my elm tree in-front of my house that the city owns and every time I park a car for over an hour, its absolutely COVERED in aphid shit. Fucking sticky disgusting mess.

They wont inject it this year either because they are doing a study on the effectiveness of their current injections supposedly. First time I actually cant wait for the leaves to drop so I can actually park a car infront of my house without having to wash it two hours later!

That's probably not aphid shit. The certain trees will literally weep sap like light precipitation to the point you can feel it gently falling on you like a damp fog at certain times of the year.
The car show I saw in Okotoks a few weeks ago. Unfortunate placement for whatever Spy Designs is because they ended up with a couple Maserati and Maclaren directly under some weeping trees. Just misting sticky piss all over some beautiful specimens!

Yeah it's sap that the elm trees weep. I have one out front of my house too.

For a second I thought the title said “What’s shitting my pants”.

    Lol.

Which one of you cowards shit in my pants?

Some tree nerd came and looked and told it us it was Aphid shit. Figured it was sap at first, but he was adamant.
