Default Your weekly television viewing - how many hours?

So, seems like everyone I know has several shows that they consider "most see" television. Or a sport that they follow closely and watch every game.

So, what do you estimate is a "normal" week for you to watch live, recorded or streamed television, sports or movies?

    - - - Updated - - -

I think I'm in the 4-8 range, mostly dependent on sports. I'm 2-3 of actual shows, but two hockey games, even when I skip commercials, raises the number.

Big TV junkie, usually a few hours of TV a day minimum unless I have a full day's plan or on vacation.

Pretty much zero actual television that I am actively watching. TV still on 95% of the time for wife or kids. I dick around watching Youtube for a while each day, probably less than an hour.

Does this include the hours spent watching it through my eyelids?

Depends on the season. We watch way more TV during winter months. During the summer, we're outside evenings and weekends, playing golf on weekends, etc. Winter we spend a fair amount of time inside.

Before we had our kid, we watched a fraction of what we do now, as we went out to eat multiple nights per week, golfed 2-3x per week etc... but now that we've got a reason we need to be at home from pretty much 5pm onwards every day, we definitely spend more time in front of the tube.

About a couple hours per night. We watch Netflix during dinner and then maybe another hour of lounging about.

Less than 2 hours a day, but only paying attention to it for half of that. Probably actually watch 45min. of no commercial tv a day. 2x half hour programs, or 1x hour long one.

Less than 4 hours, and the 2-3 hours I do watch are reruns of The Office, Two & a Half Men & Mad Men on an iPad while I work, don't know if this really counts.

Does this include Youtube? Because I'm always on there at work and while eating breakfast.

If you are talking about programmed TV - 0 for our house.

Wife does stream shows online occasionally and I mostly use YT.

Same, little to no TV in the summer, say 6-8 hours a week. In the winter, probably triple that per week.

NBA season - watch games pretty well every day on days off. Don't watch much of anything on shift. All the highlights though.

    Out of season, 5-8~ hours.

I feel like this will be heavily skewed with sports. For example someone who doesn't normally watch much TV might sit down for 3-4 hours to watch a hockey or football game.

I have the TV on in the morning for 15-20min just to check for news, weather and traffic report before heading to work.

pre-kids I barely watched TV, only TV shows that I follow, but now I like having the TV on in the afternoon for background noise.. mostly re-runs of Big Bang, Friends, Seinfield or Modern Family.
I started enjoying Masterchef and the various 90 days fiance shows too

We always used to have the TV on as background noise, but now we never do since our daughter just zones out on it whenever it's on. Our TV is basically off from 8-6 while shes awake. I'm sure this will change once we have our second kid.
