My thoughts? You don't want to vaccinate your children because you don't trust the medical community. Fine... that's your choice. But don't bother coming to that same medical community when/if your child comes down with any of those diseases. Society should not have to pay for your decision.

It's amazing to me that people can read one or two articles on the internet, think they know more than a trained medical professional (essentially calling them incompetent), but then turn to that same medical professional for help when they're confronted with the consequences of their decision.

You should tell that to the hundreds of immunocompromised individuals in Calgary alone who are <2 years out from a Bone Marrow Transplant after battling Leukemia/etc. If my family member that recently went through this contracts one of these diseases they might die because of some moron who didn't vaccinate their kid.

What concerns me, is people who blindly inject their kids with god knows what, just because the media or their doctor tells them to.

These people don't even know there is "another side to the story", as the main stream media doesn't want to talk about it.

And let me assure you, the evidence against vaccinations is far more convincing than the evidence for vaccinations. Actually, any evidence I've seen supporting vaccinations is typically propaganda and very misleading.

Yeah, and did you actually read them? I'll summarize for you... here's the entirety of your "evidence" against vaccines. At least the ones that actually link to pubmed, and not some site like "naturalnews" or "infowars".
"We don't know what causes autism, we suspect vaccines might be tied to it. We should research it further. Oh, and there is one actual study that was proven false even though it's been cited as truth by thousands of websites."

Here's the summary of the evidence FOR vaccines...
"If you don't vaccinate your child and they catch one of these nasty diseases, they WILL die or be left horribly disfigured. Hundreds of millions upon millions of vaccinated children are just fine, and have lead happy normal lives."

All the anti vaccine crap has proved to be false, Autism from vaccines turns out is a lie, and just as we are seeing vaccination rates dropping, we are seeing an increase of preventable disease.

As much as I believe that you should let your immune system do it's thing for stuff like the Flu....

All the regular hardcore stuff should be vaccinated.

And it is true.... if you refuse vaccination, you are increasing the risk of the disease not only for yourself, but people you come into contact with.

The only scientifically supported argument is that with some disease, fighting off the actual virus naturally versus the vaccines gives broader and longer lasting immunity.
