"She was very brave to go up on a snow-covered glacier in a blizzard in October. She's clearly utterly fearless for a teenager," Pomeroy said in an interview Thursday.
Found this funny. I was there last week in socks and slides. My socks got wet. Felt pretty fucking brave.

I also love the irony that she is trying to portray climate change and increasing temperatures and the blizzard that they had to walk in. I doubt they will use any film/picture of this execution on the documentary.

Oh man, I do not miss those commutes.
That was dumb. These people work long hours and then some have a commute thats over a hour. Then you have these wankers having a hissy fit.

There have been some recent technology advancements to save socks from getting wet in slides. They close the toes and the heel off with material designed to deflect the elements.

Solve climate change with existing technology for $300 billion? Seems like a good deal, and has other benefits to food security and health.

Alberta schools are bringing this crew in to "teach" the children.

They don’t bring in people I thought.

Each division does its own thing, and within that each school does its own thing.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Maybe but some teachers obviously think this is good to get more hate on for oil. Then it grows to their other friends that are teachers who get them into their school.

    On an offshoot:

I find it funny how Alberta quotes about $500 million Cdn for building a 400 MW photovoltaic array, that in Florida the same 400MW is quoted as $1.5 Billion US.
    Cocoa $10,000 per ton.
