TIL apparently the coldest its ever been in metro Sydney is -8. Time to move there and forget what 8 months of winter is.
But the cold kills most of things that are trying to kill humans. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I want to watch the world burn
climate change hysterics are as hilarious as flat-earthers.
We can all agree that the climate is changing. We should all also agree that humans are doing some part of that.
Then climate change hysterics move directly to "WE'RE ON THE EDGE OF A MASS EXTINCTION!"
What the fuck happened to your data-centric outlook, bro?
On a related note: I'm enjoying the plus degree December weather.

so... While they're in the process of outlawing our coal industry...
They invested 141million of CPP funds into the chinese coal industry?
?!?! Just curious are they carbon taxing the profits? because...
CPP knows that profits are more important than virtue signalling.

So we're investing in industries that we disallow in canada, and are actively eliminating but invest overseas in a country we currently have a fairly significant diplomatic incident with... While we bitch at them to reduce their ghg emissions, but here we are dumping money in an industry that builds actual dirty coal power plants...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Step 2: Ban Canada coal

Step 4: Investments shoot up
Capitalism yo
I believe that the CPP takes no direction from the politicians.

But they have guidelines for "sustainable investing" if they're following the we need to destroy our domestic industries mandate... then is it ok to be investing in those industries that are supposedly going to kill us within our lifetime (if you believe the scientist scaremongering)?
Are we investing in asbestos mines in china too? Child labour sweat shops? Seems odd that we're investing money in china while we have canadian citizens in custody over the huawei mess... You'd think all those investments would have been immediately stopped until resolved.
I guess it depends on if you see the CPP as a method of ensuring future pension income, or a method of achieving government policy goals. It can't really be both.

Did you even read the link you posted yourself? lol It is kind of funny that you attempted to post a propaganda source as a rebuttal to the CO2 discussion, and even it mentions water vapor first. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Of course I read it- all of it, which includes the portions surrounding carbon emissions. I never said it answered every question. I said start there because the causes of climate change are varied and the situation itself is nuanced and complex. Not everything boils down to a single answer. By the way, it's pretty hilarious to me that you call NASA propaganda but then post a link to a podcast on 2GB as if that's even remotely comparable. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Then again, you're the same science denier that loves to talk at me (and others) for reasons I don't really care to explore. Not the first time we've had this conversation, but it'll be the last.
