We did Airbnb as a necessity in Paris as we had 2 families 8 people. I still like the hotel experience better. Let someone clean my room, restock necessities, turn down service, all that shit. I’m lazy on vacation.

For Paris I was totally thinking hotel but trying to find a two bedroom suite under $1000/night in a good location was difficult. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For AirBnB, make sure you read the requirements especially what needs to be done before you leave (put sheets in the laundry basket, remove garbage, etc.)
Have fun!
The area around the Champs-Elysee is very high end and is the place to go for shopping etc if you are into the super high end fashions and so forth. Personally I find it too pretentious for my tastes as I am a little more working man tastes but no doubt it is the place to be for the rich and famous. I prefer to be down near the river closer to the island (Notre Dames). The Marais, Latin Quarter, St-Germain etc is all a little more action rather than show but really it is all pretty fantastic! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
