Default Your go-to online retailer for home improvement materials?

I'm developing the basement and for most things I am able to price match or hit sales between Home Depot, Lowes, and Rona to get the best bang for my buck. However, I cannot get over the cost for 4" pot lights and even more so the trim! For Halo 993W 4" trim they want around $24 each at Lowes or HD which adds up when you're also looking at $20 for the fixture plus a bulb.

Are there any online retailers that you guys use that I should check out? Looks like I can get 12 packs of the trims delivered on ebay for around $15 per trim which is pretty good but figured I'd check here before pulling the trigger.

I'm not sure what style you may be looking for, but consider 'contractor packs' from Home Depot. For example, here is a 10-pack of Globe brand 4" white recessed lights that include housing and trim that works out to $12.50 per light. You'll have to pick up GU10 bulbs on your own:

When I redid the basement of my income property, I used the Commercial Electric (Home Depot house brand) of 5" lights in the 6-pack 'contractor pack' and they were in stock and cost $10 per light (bulbs not included):

I bought a shit-ton of LED fixtures on Amazon. For pot lights I used Mosly HyperIkon or HyperSelect

    They've been great.
