Definitely wasn't me, but if it's a Beyonder, how about a round of brand new cars for all us regular posters?

Professionally Retired
Congrats on the local win. I can be contacted any time if money becomes too much of a burden.

What a life to think about what you're going to do with 65 million lol.
I think I would randomly spend my life anonymously donating to people who really need it. Keep a mill or 2 to myself.
That dream is literally the whole value of buying lottery tickets. I would be pretty boring with any large win. But then again, I'm a pretty boring guy. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Whats really scary is the % of people who think that winning the lotto is their retirement plan.
ALso, LOL about Marios lotto group - although that would be statistically the slightly better way to go instead of buying 1-3 tickets on your own (assuming the math was done right).
The group plays for a lottery are absolutely a good way to have a higher chance of wining smaller prizes. Still VERY small chances, but well, that's the nature of the beast. I enjoy them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Winner probably won't come forward for almost a year like the Asian dude who won in Edmonton. He didnt even tell his kids/wife he won till he came forward. LOL

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
I have this crazy theory... that these huge lottery winners are fake. Does anyone hear actually know someone that won the big ones? I guarentee you none here has.
I know kphmph has won a smaller one and I knew a former coworker who won a million... but I'm talking about these huge ones. The people you see on tv on the news... they're paid actors.
Zenops... back me up here..
The big ones are typically won by an office pool or the like, and usually in Onterrible or Quebec, hence why you don't know any of the winners.
Ticket pool would be the way to go. Buy 50 tickets a week and split the pot 50 ways. 65 mill is still 1.3mill a piece which would be a huge windfall

they are definitely not fake - the stories 1-2 years later, are pretty sad
I would waste it all.

I say stupid shit all the time.
I do believe real people win, this isn't a moon landing. They also tend to try and keep it as quiet as possible.
First thing you buy of course is a nickel plate metal door. I've never really thought lotto was a bad thing, for many its a faint glimmer of hope of being a king. Getting that much all at once does tend to damaging to those without some sense of self control though, its very easy to find out that even expensive food is tasty - and the next thing you know, you have taken twenty years off your life just in heart clogging Voracity. Lets not even talk about other things you could buy and consume, and literally shorten life to a year. Rockstars know it all to well, which is why they only used to make it to age 35.
If you want the conspiracy theory: Apples, Bananas and Beer are the most healthy foods. Keeps the workers happy, strong and long life so that they can build pyramids. If you are a Pharoah, you can eat what you want - and if you give the populace what they want - Pancakes and Beer the natural order will come into balance with everyone being happy.
