FYI, if anyone's looking for cichlids we got a couple of severums and a couple of firemouths available at the humane society. Link.

One of the severums seems to spend a lot of time inside the little cave while the other one hangs around outside and chases away the firemouths anytime they come near. I'm not sure if that's a sign of potential breeding or just them being territorial since I can't see inside the cave for eggs.

Got my 50 gallon after 4 months. Concept Aquariums made it. It'll be a high tech freshwater planted tank. CO2, CO2 reactor, auto top off, fluval light, Starfire glass.

It's 24" tall, 16" wide, and 30" deep. I had it drilled on the back wall to run the plumbing through the wall. The cabinet is custom to put all the gear under. I'll be cutting into the drywall shortly.
