Although i do turn tricks at all hours, i havent really taken to technology in regards to business. In fact, a couple of those amazon test drones have already hit my messenger pigeons. Im an old fashioned kind of feller.

Who else here runs a fucked up schedule?

Anybody else find themselves up working at 1.30am and it doesn't seem weird?
I dont go quite that late - but working on a firewall at 1201am, or turning a wrench on a car at that time, is not unusal for me. I've always done my best work at night. 10pm onwards.

I used to run (pre/post market) financial algorithm calculations (automated trading/backtesting) well into 2am. It was fun for a while.

For 15 years I worked 7-on, 7-off, rotating shifts between 2:30am to 2:30pm, 9am to 9pm, and 11:30am to 11:30pm. It took weeks to stop waking up at 1:30am after that shift... just in time to start it again.

Finally got tired of it and left for a lesser paying job. Now I'm on a 5-5-4 sched, with only two shifts, 7am-7pm, and 2pm-2am. No ragrets.

So yes, I'm used to working at pretty much every hour of the day. Except maybe 2:15am.

I prefer working late at nights than early mornings. Always been that way. Unfortunately no courts sit during the nights - unless it's a JP bail hearing and they too have changed their rules to not be fully 24 hrs as it once used to be.

Up at 5:30 and at work by 6:30. Put in 9 hours and go home, unless there's overtime available (which there rarely is anymore). Could not do a night shift, even if I was well paid for it.

Go to Waggamama my friend. Order the Yaki Soba with chicken.
Then come back and tell us about your life changing experience.
We were at the Wagamama in Heathrow Airport during a layover.

Tried some ramen and I gotta say, for the price we paid, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be haha.

Airport food is rarely worth it. I mean, you pay like $18 for some easy bananas and waffles in Toronto. I'd imagine it would be just as bad at Heathrow lol.
I consider any food that didn't completely gouge you as a win.

The team I work is is 24/7/365 so I do a lot of night shifts from 6pm to 6am. I love those shifts the most. I also work from home, so for my work/life balance it is the best. I can drive and pick up my kids from school, cook dinner, sleep while they are in school, and then do my 12-hour shift in my home office.

It works great for me. Day shifts are what screw me over.

I didn’t know water could saturate to 40,000ppm, doesn’t have the buffering capacity.

Also the gas won’t be liberated until there’s massive turbulence, heat or chemically. Since I’m assuming you’re a tanker or vac truck with a pump, you can’t handle anything hotter than 80-90 per procedure. Am I wrong?

Are you thinking like 400ppm? Still will drop you, but not instant death.

I don’t doubt the producer gas from the separators are 4%. That’s nasty.

I’ve worked in facilities with 2%, 35% and most recently 14%. All produced gas numbers, the water after 3 phase separation was almost wiped out. Like under 20ppm.

Yeah, screw the first responders and operators and ER doctors and aircraft mechanics and air traffic controllers! Enjoy your degenerative brain diseases in 20 years suckers!

God, some people have no respect.
Calm down snowflake, it was clearly aimed at people bragging / touting their poor sleep habits. While nightshifts are bad enough for you, if you get enough sleep you aren't in the worst shape.
