Considering getting a model Y performance. Originally I wanted model 3 performance but test drove the model y instead and I think there’s more use-case being a slightly bigger vehicle. Has anyone considered between these 2 and which one did you go with. Also, has anyone cross shopped model y performance with x3m40i, sq5 and glc 43 amg etc?

Also, what do you guys think about model y LR vs model y Performance
Price is decent, 3.5k USD difference between the m3p and myp (yay federal credit)

Drive the tesla first. You will be wow'd by the power. Then sit in any or all of the germans and you will instantly forget about the power. Its just not even the same thing. Ones a automobile and the other is a rocket that steers itself. Dont get me wrong, I love EV's (have have a PHEV) but the quality, fit and finish of the tesla is just....

I wanted the Model Y Performance initially but after test driving I decided against it. Functionally it's bigger than the M3, however comfort wise it's horrid. The driving position is extremely high and the suspension is way too firm. There is also some pretty brutal blind spots. I would take the Model Y LR over the P even though I absolutely love the performance. Are you in the states?

The local Tesla didn’t have any m3p, only myp so I drove that. They raised the price of the myLR so it feels like myp is better value for money, if I were to get one.
