So, full payment due in 10 days, but no delivery date? Or did I miss something.

BJ, the total price was initially over 200k, so I think that's just the 2 deposits.

Again? Wasn’t this available for pre order like 3 years ago?

Yeah that's just the deposit. Shipping "should start in 2024". So hopefully normal orders for beyonder arrive Q1 2025?

You've been able to put a deposit down for well over 3 years now. I don't think that changed.

It's probably going to be over $200K USD

Probably the correct price tbh. No reason to make it cheaper.

Don't feel badly, I wrote out a paragraph about how if this car was 64 grand, I'm going to get one myself. Then I did some more reading about it (there is nothing on the site other than it says "Base Reservation, 50,000" on the specs page - all the car journalists mentioned it was going to be north of 200k USD. So I ninja edited, but it had me wondering hopefully for 1/2 a second too.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

This is so true. A lot from the NSX, a little from the Taycan, Supra, Lotus, and probably half a dozen more cars if you look long enough.

Updated Model 3 official pics are out now. Seems like a lot is upgraded on the car and is much better looking. I still don't want one, but I'm glad that they are improving it and keeping the price low.
