Earlier this year, researchers raised eyebrows when Australia's traditionally conservative medicines regulator approved the use of psychedelics to assist therapy sessions.

The decision will see psilocybin, found in magic mushrooms, used for treatment-resistant depression. It will also allow MDMA, known as ecstasy in tablet form, for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Try growing them. It’s a fun hobby and doesn’t take too much time.

Check out the uncle Ben method. Easy to get a bunch of flushes and it’s a rewarding experience. You can also buy kits relatively cheap that can yield 500+ grams

Fadiman’s schedule is 1 on, 2 off. Stamets’ is 5 on 2 off (his is the lion’s mane and Niacin cocktail).

So I’d say at least two days off and whatever days on you like is probably good.

100mg is going to be dependent on the individual but is a good place to start. I personally like closer to 250mg as a bigger guy (200lbs, 6-1)

So I have never seen solid scientific research on the best micro dose. My take on it is that sub-perceptible amounts have an extremely subtle benefit in terms of mental health.
I prefer to take perceptible amounts less frequently. I do not run a fixed schedule.
350, 700 mg or 1-2 g kinda whenever I can fit it in. The obvious downside to perceptible amounts is that you need to clear your schedule to ensure you aren't driving etc.

Cooking or family movie night is more fun on a moderate dose I find.

Don't think I've ever done more then 2g.
