I think it’s a myth. I’ve grown some of my favourite batch of shrooms that are 3 years old and and are still potent as they were when they were first dried. I did toss desiccant into the jars though.

Yeah, so many variables.. think it’s science at this point though, was listening to a podcast with Paul Staments where they were talking about everything that degrades them (even the temp you dehydrate at)

Microdosing helped me get off antidepressants earlier in the year. Unfortunately I had alot going on in my life lately where my anxiety and depression hit a new low. Doctors prescribed an SSRI but I'm going to experiment with different microdosing schedule with a larger amount to see if I can pull myself out again

Have never looked into that one, but I see it has Ashwagandha, which I have heard good things about.

Ashwagandha levels my mood. So I'm less grumpy. Definitely seems to reduce anxiety.

Turns out Morning Sun in BVS sells mushroom stuff too now.

My personal experience, SSRI's caused excessive intrusive thoughts, and made me manic. Accidentally missing a dose also made me not fit to operate any kind of machinery. Going off of it completely was... interesting. Interesting enough I never EVER want to go on them again.

I came off 7 years of Cipralex January 11 2022 , while it help me at first, it lost its effect over the years. it was horrible to come off. Apparently they are suppose to switch you Prozac and ween you off.
I had all kinds of weird side effects that continue today but I feel much more myself off ssri's

Makes sense indeed. I have absolutely no highs. I basically hover at a steady 4 like I'm on cruise control. I hope you found a method that works for you. I'd be curious via PM?

I found it amazing how what I presume were the SSRIs blocking effects eliminated the mushrooms own effects for me. I think it may have been you who advised against both about a year ago...

But what a bummer. Either that, or I got sent placebo. For shits and giggles I finished off my bottle at a dose that should have had me seeing dragons and unicorns. Nothing.

My doctor prescribed me cipralex but I didn't end up taking it. I relied heavily on a new micro dosing schedule and incorporated the lions mane, ashwagandha, inositol and downloaded a mediation app. I also had the use of a psychologist.
