How does it work on a person’s last renewal before the mortgage is paid off? At my current payment, I will have 13 or 14 months left once this term is complete. Does it get stretched out to a standard length term?

Congratulations... it sounds like you are about to pay off your mortgage.

If I understand you correctly... once your current term ends, you will have about 13-14 months of payment left to payoff your mortgage, correct? If so, they you will likely just renew for a 1-year term. Hopefully I have understood your comments... have a great day!
