On topic, driving is such a fucking joy now. I left the hospital at 9:30 last night, and it was like driving around in the evening 25 years ago when I first moved here. Traffic around, but not much.

Really made me want a nice cruising car again.

Keep an eye on that speedometer. With no cars around, I no longer have a frame of reference as to how fast I'm going. I was going down Deerfoot at 130-140km/h during "rush hour" last week without realizing it; I thought I was just cruising along at about 110km/h until I looked at my dash. That would have been hard to argue had I been pulled over haha

My local store has always shorted me something. Even before this Covid19 stuff. But GOOD NEWS EVERYONE the fine folks at Westwinds must looked a second time, because I got my cucumbers. Now that's service! Officially got everything I asked for. I may never do click and collect in the NW again.

I always heard that the Huntington Superstore was the best superstore. What a waste of a Zellers if that is not true.

Next month i hit 10 years of service. We get a small bonus added to our paycheque + the option of either a gold lapel shaped into our company logo or a $300 donation to a charity of our choice. Definitely choosing the charity donation as i'm sure there's a lot of people in need these days.

Nice that they are still doing these service recognitions during these times and even better that it results in a charitable donation.
