Default Is there a way to ignore threads?

Is there a way to ignore threads entirely so they never come up in "whats new?" I see you can subscribe to them, but is there a way to also ignore/hide them?

There are certain threads/sections I will never be interested in based on content (I.e. Campus chat section), and I thought I might be able to clear some clutter.

Thanks and sorry if I missed it.

What I want is some kind of system so that when I start a thread, all the people on MY ignore list are totally prevented from replying.

So the "ignore list" has come up in another thread and so as to not muddy that thread, I am curious as to how many people other beyond members have on their ignore lists.

For the record, I am at exactly zero - I get the full fat experience.

I'm at 12, but I think most of them have either been banned or left or made new accounts.

Yeah, I don't have anyone on it ignore. As for ignoring s thread, is it that hard to just ignore a thread by scrolling past it...

I've got 44. I don't know how many of those are current members though.

I think I have 5 or 6, just a handful of people who have followed me around obviously trolling over the years or those who have engaged in personal attacks and other behaviors most commonly found in Elementary Schools. By and large I find the Beyond community to be quite good though.

I have 2 active members on ignore. I have no problem with reading opinions that are even half-assed articulated, but there's a couple of members that are just beligerent.
