Default Need help identifying an old truck from a painting

    Hey,

So I have a friend who is a painter and has asked me for some help. They are trying to finish an old painting of an old truck they started some time ago, however they have lost their reference image and would like to identify the truck in order to find more image references of it. They sent me a photo of the incomplete painting. I tried to identify the truck but have failed. I am hoping someone on here might be able to help out? Many thanks! See photo below.

Not much to go off of but I would say maybe a Dodge? Like an older D200 or of the sorts

Thanks all. What is the second truck you posted, spikers? I think that is the closest so far. Note the mirrors on the hood and the door.

And the search continues... Unless they made some with the split? The lights down low even match up.

This is the winner, I was instantly thinking of an old Ford cab over grain truck like I used to see in the grain elevators my Dad managed in the 60's and 70's.
    Will fuck off, again.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

    It's definitely a Ford. We have a 1970 F900 at the farm.
