Now with official investigation. Still seems completely reasonable to me, but then again I'm used to seeing $20 for a cheese pizza.

Couldn't they just photocopy the invistigation that BC did?
Also, are high fuel prices a benefit to the stated goals of these governments?

Also, last refinery built was in 1977. More usage, less refinery, compound with fire outage = higher prices?
Meantime, where are the refinery turn around this fall and why is gas hovering at 90c right now?
I want to know why in Calgary gas thats 87c is 94.9 and gas thats 89 is 107.9 but then gas thats 91 is 113.9 why is there such a massive difference between 87 and 89

Now that more cars take premium they can charge steeper margins. Definitely stupid since 89 is a blend but probably just cuz the premium tank is much smaller so they want to milk every pennyThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It might depend where you go. I know that Shell used to be bad for that but it's been a long time since I've purchased there. There is a Petro-Can by my place that is like that as well. I usually go to Safeway since it is always the same difference between 87/89 and 89/90 (with lower priced 87, it's usually a 14 cent difference between 87 and 91, with 89 right in the middle). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Pretty much. I swear the 87-91 spread used to be 10c and now it's like 25c some places. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

10 years ago it was 5 cents from 87 to 89 and then 5 cents from 89 to 91 for a long time. Even when gas was still in the 80's or 90's. Now most places are 10c per bump. Such bullshit. I wish my car liked Costco premiumThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It was 104.9 last week at some stations last week. Ontario is over $1 right now. Can't all be carbon tax. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
