Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

Never thought they'd make a new Modern Warfare, but here we are, in 2019, new MW in full 4K HDR. The highlights are just as good as COD WWII, peek outside and the sun blasts your retinas in HDR.

Playing the single player campaign, one of the most epic COD stories I've played. Not as much time as I used to have to blow through the game in a night, just finished the Bin Laden style raid, every story just keeps getting better and better.

Anyone else playing this shit?

Online is pretty good with the large scale battles, but its buggy as hell. Had lots of issues launching the game and once the advice I got was to just re-install it... gave up until it's more stable.

I think this is one of if not the best COD game they have ever done. The campaign is easily the best, the coop missions are great and actually require real cooperation and the multiplayer time to kill is great. My only real complaint is that ground war becomes a vehicle up on the hill battle instead of what it should be. That will however get better as more people unlock the better launchers.

If you haven’t played the campaign do it, do it now.

I might get this on PS4. We don't have 4K TV yet and I guess, even 4K PS4 coz I still have the very first version of PS4 lol. I've played MW for a loooonggg time when it came out. It was fun back then so really contemplating getting this one.

First COD I have bought since the original modern warfare. Really enjoying it so far (campaign) and its an incredibly polished game. Looks great in 4K HDR.

I was going to buy GR breakpoint but apparently it’s a hot mess. Hope that gets fixed because I really enjoyed the last one.

Loved the campaign! The story is great. Not sure if I am going to renew my Xbox Live for multiplayer yet.

Anyone else having issues with Xbox achievements? I should have gotten two, one for completing the story, and one for story on Veteran - but it's still showing as not achieved. Maybe need Rank A?

I thought being offline would be fine too. I did get some achievements throughout the campaign, just not some of the bigger ones. Do I have to finish Spec Ops as well?

I sure hope the single player is worth the effort it's taken so far. Got the game for xbone the other day and did the install. All good, ready to play. Nope, there's an 83GB update. Holy fuck, okay I guess I'll let that download for a day or two. Once that finished I sat down to play. Nope, another 18GB update. Right on. So I let that run overnight. Turned it on this morning, and there's another 12GB update. Fuck me. I've exceeded my bandwidth limit and there's still 18 days left in this billing cycle. Somehow I was able to push through without downloading that update, and then I had to make an Activision account. All I'm going to do is play the single player story, and that's it. I don't remember ever having to try this hard just to play a game.

You don't have to make an Activision account for offline SP, it sure the fuck is difficult though. You have to press back a bunch of times and ignore warnings before you're dropped into the menu screen to play offline SP.

The updates, yup, lots of them lol.

Doesn’t help that I have never come close to saturating my DL with Xbox One games or updates.

It can saturate on burst for maybe 30 seconds but then gets walked back to 100-150mbit pretty quickly. Often as low as 80mbit.

One of the more frustrating Xbox one features for me.
