I just finished act 1 and I am really enjoying it

I just killed those backstabbing peasants at the beginning of the game. Looks like they've adopted some skill tree stuff from path of exile? I couldn't really get into PoE for whatever reason but the skill progression seems logical here

Yep, feels like they took some of the better aspects of Diablo 3, Diablo Immortal and Path of Exile and put it into D4. There are still flaws and issues yes, but I'm really enjoying the game!

Do you have to grind to get through the campaign? I am no longer 15 and have no patience for that shit

The whole game seems to level scale, so you only grind as much as you want.

World Level 1 is pretty easy. Can’t say I have died once and I’m most of the way through act 2.

I’m already level 30 from just farting around.

Anybody playing on console or is PC recommended? With the Starfield update I'm pretty tempted to grab an XSX but this is about the only other game I might play.

Going to buy it on Xbox as well. I don't have a gaming laptop, and the thought of sitting at a desk to play isn't as appealing as it was 20 years ago.

damit all your feedbacks are such a temptation. These days it really is difficult to find time to play. I can still remember when D3 came out it was so fun the first year, then I lost interest until I got into gear hunting and selling them for real money.

Bought it today on Xbox, played for a hour, server disconnected me and account locked, lol. Temporarily, but still, wtf. Over two decades since D2 and they still can't figure out how to run a server.

Aside from that my only beef is the "always online" thing, so I can't pause the fucking game.

Yea the whole game being online so one loser can run in and kill your mobs every hour seems dumb.
