I really like van express. I would get it almost everyday lol, but have brining lunch. I refuse to go past 1130 on most days, gets way too busyThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Haven't tried Omi to compare but my co-workers who has tried both prefers Van Express. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I like van express a lot, wonton, vermicelli, beef sate sub, teryaki beef w/ rice etc. Lines wild lately though so I always try to leave at 1130. Hardly anything open anymore in 5th and 5th.
My go to spots are Olly's in the morning for bacon by the weight, $2.50 gets you around 8 pieces of thick cut bacon. Om Thursday, Eat in Eighth Ave Place has brisket by weight. $18 of fatty brisket is good for the soul once a month.
Marcellos stopped doing that in the before times haha. People used to just load up the clamshell. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Damn I'm going to EAT on Thursday.
Ended up at The Keg twice this week for work stuff. (Sorry if you don't think this counts as +15 Food, but it kinda is).
The Prime Rib classic for dinner was still good, but if I made one that bland, I'd be apologizing to my guests.
The steak sandwich for lunch was maybe the best I've ever had.
Aside - I guess I never work downtown on Fridays, but holy the traffic is like half. I think I shaved 15+ minutes off my drive and parking was a cinch.
The prime rib classic is the wrong thing to order there, the bone in rib-eye is far better.

I went to the Royal Exchange BVS again this week. Everything that I've tried the has been good.
Not this time. Their Burger is the worst burger I've had in 10+ years.
I found restaurant burgers near universally disappointing.
Combine that with them being terrible for you and it’s an easy choice to get something else.

Had it yesterday, it was way better than Hankki. (albeit smaller portions) Owner was super helpful when discussing what the options were as well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I finally went to Hankkiii recently. It's pretty good, but LoL at ever considering lining up as far as I've seen that lineup go in BVS.
Hard no!
